SMS Notification Program Policy

Hüezen · Effective November 2026

Hüezen offers optional text messaging (SMS) notifications to enrolled students and parents through Artie. Opting in is voluntary and is never a condition of enrollment or receiving services.

1. Exact Opt-In Language

When you provide your phone number and opt in through our enrollment forms in Artie, the consent language states:

"I agree to receive recurring text messages (SMS) from Hüezen about enrollment updates and studio announcements. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of enrollment. View our Terms of Service (huezen.art/terms), Privacy Policy (huezen.art/privacy-policy) and SMS Policy (huezen.art/sms-policy)."

If you book your complimentary first class through Calendly, any appointment confirmation or reminder texts are sent by Calendly under the consent you give on Calendly's booking page and are governed by Calendly's own terms and privacy policy, not this SMS Policy.

2. Message Types & Frequency

  • Enrollment Updates: Notifications regarding class transfers, enrollment confirmations, and drop confirmations.
  • Studio Announcements: Planned holiday studio closures, inclement weather cancellations, and special studio events.
  • Frequency: Message frequency varies based on studio schedule and enrollment status.

3. Fees & Charges

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and wireless plan. Hüezen does not charge a separate fee for sending or receiving text messages.

4. How to Opt Out or Get Assistance

  • To Opt Out: Reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT to any text message from us at any time. You will receive a single confirmation message confirming your unsubscribe.
  • For Help: Reply HELP to any text message, call us at 801-833-3463, or email info@huezen.art.
  • Artie Settings: Enrolled students can also toggle SMS notifications off anytime directly in their Artie account profile.

5. Age Requirement

Participants in our text messaging program must be at least 16 years of age, matching Hüezen's studio eligibility. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian's consent to receive text messages.

6. Privacy & Carrier Disclaimer

  • Mobile Privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
  • Carrier Liability: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • Your enrollment, tuition, and studio participation are governed by our Terms of Service.
