We have a new name! Accomplished Artist Studio is now Hüezen.

Privacy Policy

Hüezen · Effective November 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Hüezen ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information across our website (huezen.art) and our studio management application, Artie (artie.huezen.art). Our Terms of Service govern enrollment, tuition, and studio conduct.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information when you visit our website, subscribe to email reminders, book your complimentary first class through Calendly, or enroll as a student through Artie.

A. Website Visitors, Email Subscribers & First-Class Bookings

  • Email Subscriptions: Our website's only information-submission form is a simple email subscription box. We collect your email address and record the signup source and date. We save a private backup in Lovable Cloud before sending your email address to Kit to manage reminder emails.
  • First-Class Bookings: Your first class is free. Our website links to Calendly, where you provide your contact information, select a class time, and answer any booking questions. This information is collected through Calendly, not through a booking form on our website, and is shared with us to arrange your first class. Calendly's privacy policy also applies to information you submit there.
  • Technical & Usage Data: Standard web analytics, IP addresses, browser types, device information, and pages visited (via standard server logs and cookies to ensure site functionality and understand traffic).

Our website has no inquiry or waitlist submission forms, chatbot, or chat box. Student enrollment information is collected separately through Artie, as described below.

B. Enrolled Students & Families (via Artie)

  • Student Profile: Full name, preferred name, birthday, and gender.
  • Health & Safety Notes: Medical notes, food allergies, and learning differences shared to ensure safe and effective instruction.
  • Emergency Contacts: Contact name, relationship, and phone number.
  • Billing Information: Primary billing contact name, billing address, email, and phone number. Payment cards are processed directly and securely through Stripe; we never store credit card or bank account numbers on our servers.
  • Curriculum & Artwork Progress: Project progress tracking, attendance records, instructor feedback, and photos of student artwork.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Arrange your complimentary first class using the booking information received through Calendly.
  • Send weekly open-spot reminders and occasional studio emails to email subscribers through Kit. You can pause or stop weekly reminders without leaving our studio email list, or fully unsubscribe using the link in the footer of your email.
  • Manage class enrollments, schedules, and studio capacity.
  • Instruct students and track personal artistic progress and milestones.
  • Ensure student health and safety while in the studio.
  • Process monthly tuition and enrollment fees.
  • Send important operational notices, class schedule adjustments, and weather-related closures.
  • Reach emergency contacts in the event of an urgent situation.

3. Sharing and Third-Party Service Providers

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate our studio:

  • Calendly: Scheduling and collecting booking information for your complimentary first class.
  • Kit: Managing email subscriptions, reminder preferences, and email delivery.
  • Google Analytics: Understanding website traffic and usage.
  • Google Ads: Measuring and improving our advertising on Google Search, YouTube, and partner sites.
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram): Measuring and improving our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Stripe: PCI-compliant payment processing.
  • Twilio: Transactional text messaging (SMS) for opted-in students and contacts.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery for invoices, onboarding, and announcements.
  • Secure Cloud Hosting: Database and infrastructure hosting with strict encryption and role-based access controls.

All providers are contractually obligated to safeguard your data and may use it solely to deliver services to Hüezen.

4. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (small files stored by your browser) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising.

  • Analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages visited, time on site, approximate location, device, and how you arrived at our website.
  • Advertising: We may use the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel to learn whether our ads lead to visits or bookings, and to show our ads to people who have visited our website. These providers may collect information about your browsing on our site and use it according to their own privacy policies.
  • Your Choices: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; our website will still work. You can manage ad personalization through Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at YourAdChoices.
  • Do Not Track: Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common industry standard for them.

5. Text Messaging (SMS) Compliance

If you opt in to our SMS program:

  • We send messages regarding enrollment updates and studio announcements.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
  • Please review our full SMS Policy for complete details.

6. Artwork, Photos & Media

  • Student Gallery: Photos of student artwork may be displayed within the Artie student gallery, visible to other enrolled students for project inspiration and visible to staff for teaching purposes.
  • Studio Content & Social Media: Photos and videos of students and/or their artwork may be shared on social media and our website for the dual purpose of celebrating student achievements and promoting the studio's programs. If you ever prefer that you or your student not appear in public media, simply notify studio management.

7. Minors & Parental Rights

For students under 18 years of age:

  • A parent or legal guardian provides required information and consent during enrollment.
  • Parents/guardians maintain the right to review, update, or request the deletion of their child's records at any time.
  • Children Under 13: Our classes are for students ages 16 and older, and our website and services are not directed to children under 13. In keeping with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Data Security & Retention

  • We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, including encrypted database storage and role-based permissions (so coaches only see health and progress notes relevant to their classes).
  • We retain student and billing records while you are active and as long as required by law for accounting, tax, and audit obligations.
  • We retain email signup backup records to maintain the reminder list and support subscription preferences. You may contact us to request access, corrections, or deletion of your signup information.
  • You may request a copy of your personal data, request corrections, or request deletion after leaving the program by contacting studio administration.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the version and effective date above. If we make significant changes, we will let current students and subscribers know by email or through Artie. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
